Minutes of the November 23, 2024, Westminster Seventh-day Adventist Church Business Meeting held at 6:00 PM EST.

Note: Questions, concerns, and suggestions regarding the church can be directed to the church board chairman (Pastor Jeff Werda), church elders, or any current board member. These items can then be recommended for the upcoming board or business meeting. A contact list for the current board members will be made available soon.
Discussion: Church Service Times
Motion (Passed): To change the Sabbath worship times as follows:
9:30 AM Adult Sabbath School
10:00 AM Youth and Children's SS
11:00 AM Worship
(New times take effect January 4, 2025)
Discussion: Fellowship Meals
Motion (Passed): To conduct Fellowship Lunch in the following manner: We will hold a potluck once a month in the gymnasium on the fourth Sabbath. We will pool financial and human resources for space improvement and organization.
(The new schedule takes effect immediately; the next scheduled potluck will be December 28, 2024)
Discussion: Youth Space
Resolution: The youth will propose to the church board what space on the church property would best serve the church youth. The church board will manage the request appropriately.
Discussion: 2025 Evangelism
Note: The church board is working on evangelism plans for 2025, including an evangelistic series that will be partially supported by the funds of the Pentecost 2025 initiative from the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. Several plans are already in place, and more will come. Church members should be on the lookout for a planning calendar to be produced shortly.
Discussion: Business Meetings
Motion (Passed): Hold a business meeting on the fourth Sabbath of the last month in each quarter of 2025 or at a specified date and time determined at the most recent business meeting.
